Ex-Yukom Employees Allegedly Involved with Binary Options Fraud.
Five employees (Lissa Mel, Shira Uzan, Yair Hadar, Leoria Welles and Austin Smith) of Israeli-based Yukom Communications Ltd. have been charged with allegations of fraudulent binary options scheme in criminal proceedings at the Marilyn District Court in the U.S. The former CEO of Yukom, Lee Elbaz, was found guilty of financial crimes and sentenced to life imprisonment in August 2019.
It is alleged that these financial crimes caused losses of more than $100 million to investors including first-time deposits for Binary Book and BigOption (both operated by Yukom Communications Ltd.).
Among the accusations against Yukom and its ex-employees, was failing to disclose that Yukom was allegedly conspiring with Spot Option to manipulate the outcome of trades.
